High-quality fieldwork has been the hallmark of the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust for over 40 years. Our Field Services team is the leading archaeological practice in mid- and north-east Wales, and one of the longest-established archaeological contractors in Europe. We provide independent, comprehensive, and high quality archaeology and cultural heritage services for a diverse range of clients. We work throughout Wales, in the English west midlands and in the north west of England.
Meet the team
The Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust field services team includes some of the best professional archaeologists in Wales, who also have extensive experience of the border counties of England, including Shropshire, Herefordshire, Cheshire and Worcestershire.
The Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust is a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA). All our senior Field Services staff are also individual Members of the Chartered Institute. This ensures that our work adheres to an externally-validated Code of Conduct and is of the highest professional standards.
