SENIOR ARCHAEOLOGIST
Will joined the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological trust in 2015, having previously spent many years as a field archaeologist at Border Archaeology. With over fifteen years experience, Will has specialised in complex urban projects in centres such as Leominster, Hereford, Winchester, Worcester and Bristol. He successfully managed the CPAT excavations of medieval and later industrial and domestic sites in the centre of Shrewsbury. More recently Will has developed an interest in military archaeology, completing the Cadw-funded research project looking at the archaeology of the first world war in Wales and undertaking an assessment of the former chemical and nuclear weapons factory at Rhydymwyn in Flintshire.
