Zoe Arthurs MSc PCIfA

Heritage Management Archaeologist

Zoe joined the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust in January 2021 as Curatorial Assistant and is now one of our Heritage Management Archaeologists. Zoe holds a BA in History an MSc in Sustainable Heritage Practice (University of Chester). She is Vice Chair of the board for the Association for Industrial Archaeology, and a member (PCIfA) of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. Zoe has a research interest in education and interpretation at historic industrial heritage sites across Shropshire and the Clwyd-Powys region.

Zoe works on Cadw-funded projects and has developed an interest in sustainable forestry practice in the historic environment, playing a key role in threat-related management during the consultation phase of woodland creation. Zoe also represents CPAT on the Welsh Conflict Archaeology Panel (WelCAAP) as well as helping out at community engagement sessions at excavations and events to promote playful learning and positive engagement at sites of heritage and culture.
