PRN 30743 - Welshpool, Severn Street 12

Probably c1800. 2 storeys. Painted brick. 4 sash windows with architraves and glazing bars, right-hand one in slight projection, lower ones 3-light with cambered heads, but vehicular entrance under window on left and recessed door of four panels with pilasters and cornice under 3rd. Double bands between storeys. Moulded string under oversailing eaves.

Towards the lower end of Severn Street.

Probably c1850, although the facade detail may represent a later remodelling. Painted brick, slate roof with gable end stack. 2 storeys, 4-window range, including a segmentally arched carriage entry to the left, within the building. Excepting this, the house is symmetrically planned with central entrance with moulded architrave to 4-panelled door. Flanking windows are segmentally arched tripartite small-paned sashes with stressed architraves and bracketed sills. String course above the ground floor, and continuous sill band to first floor, bracketed at windows which are all 12-pane sashes in moulded architraves. Coved eaves cornice.
