PRN 34009 - Mynydd y Cemmaes cairn III

Prefered site type :- Bronze Age - Round barrow (cairn) (Structure - Intact )
Oval shaped cairn composed of turfed-over stones and earth. Some stones poking through turf and appear to be well set. Concentration of stones at centre may suggest a cist (CPAT 1996).
Cairn aligned east-west 8x5m and up to 0.4m high. No positive evidence for a central cist. Site could be prehistoric burial cairn or Post Medieval boundary cairn (Carter, S & Baker, L, 2000).
