Unitary authority :- Flintshire
Community :- Llanfynydd
Prefered site type :- Roman - Building (Building - Unknown )
Roman mortared and plastered limestone wall, cattle bones, charcoal, fragments of hypocaust tiles and Samian and other pottery found in 1910. The wall seems to have continued to the east (under the road) and south (Davies, E, 1949, pp232).
Blockley suggests that a section of hypocaust was also found, and notes 'flue arch 1910' on his plan (Blockley, K, 1989a).
