ASSOCIATES

In addition to our staff and Trustees, the work of the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust is supported by our valued Associates. These are distinguished people who have a great deal of experience in archaeology and cultural heritage, both within our region and globally, and provide support to the team and to individual projects. The Trust currently has four associates:

Bill Britnell

MBE FSA MCIfA

Expert on later prehistory and medieval archaeology . Former CPAT Director and current Editor of the journal Archaeologia Cambrensis.

Mark Spanjer

MCIfA

Expert in medieval archaeology and professional practice. Former Dordrecht city archaeologist. Lecturer at Saxion University, Deventer, Netherlands.

Dr Bob Silvester

FSA MCIfA

Expertise in medieval rural settlement and landscape archaeology. Former CPAT Deputy Director. University of Chester, United Kingdom.

Jenny Britnell

FSA MCIfA

Expertise in Roman and medieval archaeology. Former CPAT Administrator and current Editor of the Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Historical Society.
