PRN 72077 - Welshpool, Berriew Road, Stone House

House constructed of green sandstone with red brick repair work. The building is recorded on the 1854 map. It appears to have been 2 separate dwellings under one roofline in the C19th, but was later incorporated into one building and adapted for industrial use. West face fronts Berriew Road (Frost, P, 1998).

Foundations of the house were revealed during watching brief. They were 0.8m below the street level and consisted of a stone plinth, c.0.4m deep (Frost, P, 1999).
