Queen of the Mountain

Queen of the Mountain lies in the community of Halkyn in the county of Flintshire. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SJ18907190. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 18190 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Lead/Silver (1879-1883)

Carboniferous Limestone.

The Queen of the Mountain and Prince Patrick South Mines worked the sett to the south of the Prince Patrick Mine. The site has been lost to quarrying.
