Prince Patrick South lies in the community of Halkyn in the county of Flintshire. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SJ18907190. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 18184 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Geology
Carboniferous Limestone.

Workings
The Prince Patrick South and Queen of the Mountain Mine companies worked the sett to the south of the Prince Patrick Mine. The site has been lost to quarrying.
