Plas Captain

Plas Captain lies in the community of Ysceifiog in the county of Flintshire. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SJ17407220. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 18177 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Geology
Carboniferous Limestone.

Workings
A small mine worked the Pant-y-nef cross-course in this area. Further south shafts remain in the vicinity of Berthen Farm. Little evidence remains in the vicinity of Plas Captain.
