Pentre Du

Pentre Du lies in the community of Llanfair Talhaiarn in the county of Conwy. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SH93606903. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 18170 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Ludlow rocks.

Workings
No certain mining evidence remains of possible trials due to the success of the Llanfair Mine to the north of this NGR. No evidence was located either in the fields or woodland that surround Pentre-Du. Remains may have been lost in the woods of Coed Moel Iago. Foster-Smith gives a NGR of SH935690.
