Mynydd Bodran lies in the community of Llanfair Talhaiarn in the county of Conwy. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SH94307080. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 18136 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Ludlow Rocks of the Silurian period.

Trials or collapsed adits are visible on the north-western slopes of Mynydd Bodran, being to the north-east of the Llanfair Mine.
